200 Gm Paneer Indian Cottage cheese
100 Gm Green Peas
1 No Onion Medium sized onion (Chopped finely)
10 No Cashew Nut 50 Gm
1 Teaspoon Cumin Seed / Jeera
1 Pinch Turmeric Powder A little
0.5 Teaspoon Garam Masala
1 Teaspoon Chilli powder
1 Teaspoon Ginger Paste
1 Teaspoon Garlic Paste
To taste Salt
3 Tablespoon Cream Thick milk
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Teaspoon Refined Oil
Grind it to paste
2 Teaspoon Refined Oil
1 No Onion 1 Medium chop & saute
4 No Clove
1 Inch Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Kasoori Methi , Dried

Mutter Paneer masala is a  north Indian curry made with mutter(Peas) and paneer (Indian Cottage cheese).It goes well with Rice,Jeera Pulao ,Paratha and Roti(Indian Bread).

Cashew Nut dissolved in water for 15 mins.

Onion Chopped finely and keep in a side.

Paneer cut it in small Cubes.


Add onions saute it with oil.

Take in mixy jar Onion ,Clove,Cinnamon,water and grind it into nice smooth paste.

Cashew Nut grind into nice smooth paste.


In another pan add butter and saute the paneer pieces gently.

Then put them in water.This is to make the paneer soft.


In the same pan add oil.

Then add jeera/cumin seeds and leave it to splutter

Then add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.See to it that it doesn't gets burnt.

Then add chopped onions and saute it


Then add the grinded onion paste and saute it well.

Add chilli powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder and saute it well.

Add Cashew nut paste saute it for some time.


Add little water and bring it to boil.

Add crushed kasoori methi to it.

Add fresh cream/thick milk to it and make it boil.

Then add cubed paneer(drain the water in which the cubes were soaked)

Add cooked peas to it and mix well.Heat it for some time

Garnish with a spoon of cream and serve it hot with hot Rice,Jeera Pulao ,Paratha and Roti(Indian Bread).
